The in Betweens

In your heart you love me
But in your head you curse me
from your mouth you say the words
That sound so true
” I -love -you “.

But what remains to be seen
Is everything that happens [in-between]
[In-between] In the midst of it all
Words that [can] cause you to stumble and fall

They say “Whatever will be, will be…”
Whatever is love that it is so confusing
Yet it brings out the very best and very worst of us all

Life without you would be strange
Life with you brings rainbows

So here we are standing on top of mountains, knowing the in between
Is wonderfully purposefully made
And we are growing….
In love

the Memory of Trees

I don’t want to walk through the puddles of life
Hopscotching between the edges of sharp rocks
Kissing the green, trees holding hands
Trust and faith go hand in hand
Water rushing, flowing in and out of the folds
Of rocky green mountains

Trees, the guiding lamp of hope and strength
Sitting beneath the bending branches
On a tree stump of serene rest
My heart flutters at the sweet
Melody of birds, at the memory of trees

Splintered hope of minty moss
Slanted trees lying on a hot bed of dark green

It’s the beginning of beauty beyond the eye
Life a miraculous bloom of colour
Sprouting life and song

Standing on the edge of morning misty dew
My heart sings of hope and peace
I am whole, at last I am whole
