Hebrews 4:16 – Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
When life seems to be in upheaval and you’re not sure where God is leading you, then find God’s grace to guide you. You’re not alone in the struggles that you face. Everyone comes with problems. However, the good news is this: God loves you. God cares for you and wants the best for you as hard as that may seem. God will not forsake or abandon you. He will always walk beside you or up ahead of you preparing the way, lighting the footpath with His love and grace. Allow Him into your life. You don’t have to hide away from Him in shame because He knows when you are struggling or when you are in a good place. Father God knows.
All that God is asking is that you trust in Him once more. God says “come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I shall give you rest.” This bible verse has been my biggest help in the times that I have struggled and had nowhere to turn to but to God. God won’t ridicule you. He will gather you up in His loving arms and you’re able to be you and be still in His presence as He pours out His love for you. God is good. God is grace. God is love. Without love or faith or hope where would we be? Where would we be if there was no grace? No second chances?
A life without grace would mean a messy ball of yarn rolling down the hill, as we run after it trying to catch up with it before it becomes knotted into a million knots. What is grace? To be able to impart strength to endure trials, resist temptations, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to regenerate and sanctify. Without grace there would be no forgiveness or second chances. But God gave us second chances because He gave his only Son up so that we may have eternal life. Praise the Lord for His goodness!
I have seen so much of God’s grace in my life over the years. God’s grace is sufficient for me. I want to be more like in the image of our Father. I want to serve Him with all of my heart and soul. I want to show our Father God how much I appreciate Him and for all that He has done for me over the years. For without God’s grace I would not have become the person I am today. I have seen what it would be like to not believe in a God and I have seen what it is like to believe in a God. I think that life with God is personally far better than a life without God. I choose to reach out to my Lord and my saviour even when I have challenges to face. Even when I sometimes lose hope momentarily. I choose to cling onto the one true God and His steadfastness. For He never changes. He always remains the same. He is always faithful, kind and just. In Him I choose to believe because I know that He’s got a plan for me.
For weeks I didn’t pray. I wanted to walk away from my faith because I was hurting and I didn’t want to believe that God could fix it. But I was reminded over and over again of God’s goodness and that He does answer prayers. I couldn’t deny this. God is good. So, I stood at crossroads as I battled my own worthiness and whether I was good enough to be God’s daughter. Coming to the realisation that in God’s eyes I am good enough, and that I do not need to be ashamed of who I am. Regardless, of what people may think of me. What people think of me is of no significance. What matters is what God thinks of me. Who are you going to place your worth in? In the people around you or in our Father God?
Lord, help me to be a more faithful servant to you. Help me to be still in your presence as you work in the background to come up with the solution. Help me not to fret about the future. Lord, I surrender all that I am to you and I choose to believe in you and be filled with your presence. Help me to reach out to your people for the glory of your kingdom. Thank you Lord, for loving me and for showing me what grace is. You are an amazing God and in you I choose to trust. Almighty Rock of all ages. Praise Your holy name. Hallelujah. Amen.
