New Beginnings – Day 4

Isaiah 43.19 – See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Insecurities can take hold sometimes and ravel you into a wool ball with a thousand knots and then it takes ages to untie each knot and feel like a human being again. Sometimes insecurities rear their ugly head at once and stay there. It’s hard then to walk away from the fears of life that rob you of the joy and that is exactly what the devil does. He wants us to be afraid. He wants us to fear. He wants us to think that the good things that we do have will come to an end. But I will stand firm on the promises of God and believe that not everything that is good has to come to an end.  I am choosing to believe that there are good things that will last.

Today I don’t have much energy to write. But I surrender all to God and choose not to carry my baggage but instead give it to God.
