My heart is in a constant battle between
Light and darkness
Grief and happiness
Good and sin
The conundrum between flesh and spirit

What do I do? When there is so much darkness?
How do I get more light?
How do I become more like Jesus?

Lord, I surrender to your will
Daily, moment by moment
Lord, I give you my life
Your will be done
Not my will

The blood of Jesus spilt for me
Purifies my sin
What a sacrifice he made for the sins of this world
Help me to become more like Jesus
Lighten my heart
So that I may be free

A broken-heart
A wounded heart
Healed
By the precious blood of Jesus
