A Torch of Hope

dedicated to Jules Riding

Across to faraway lands into
the hills of God’s everlasting grace:
comes a lone man
to preach the gospel in
untold words expressed in songs
of: acceptance
where everyone is the same:
one body of Christ.
A torch of hope is seen:
many miles into the
desolate desert of
pain, hurt, deep anguish
heartache, fear, rejection,
rapid attention
drawing us once more towards
the cross, to God’s
Abundant love.
Amazing grace is seen
as a testimony
of restoration and
breakthrough is preached
into the minds
of Wounded Spirits
as we are lead back
with the torch of hope
to the cross:
Safe in the arms of Jesus
